U.S. College Sports Recruiting
Build your futurein U.S. college sports
Recruiting, academic guidance and psychological support for athletes ready to compete abroad — and for the college programs looking for them.
I came from Spain to play NCAA golf, and I now coach inside a U.S. programme. Next Level On You is the guidance I wish someone had given me. Thalia Perez Vieco · Founder
Recruitment strategy
Your profile put in front of the programs that actually fit you.
College guidance
Eligibility, applications and academics, handled step by step.
Mental performance
Pressure, confidence and focus — plus clinical support when it's needed.
English support
Build the language level a U.S. programme expects, before you arrive.
The route
From anywhere to a U.S. campus
We work with athletes from every continent. The starting point changes with each one. The destination doesn't.
A slowly rotating globe showing routes arcing from cities across Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania and Latin America to university locations across the United States.
Not ready to apply?
We're still deciding which sports to focus on. Two minutes of your time would genuinely shape what we build.
Athletes & families
How it works
Four stages, in order. Most athletes spend nine to eighteen months between the first evaluation and signing.
- 01
Initial consultation
A 60-minute call with you and your family, then a written report within the week: the division range that is realistic for you, your academic pathway and eligibility, how long it will take, and what to work on first. It ends with a straight yes or no on whether we take you on — in writing, before anyone commits to a programme.
- 02
Preparation
Highlight video and athletic profile — everything that shapes the first impression a coach forms of you. This is the stage most families underestimate, and the one that decides which programmes reply.
- 03
Exposure
Your profile goes to programs where you fit — the right division, the right position need, the right academic profile. Targeted contact, not mass emails.
- 04
Placement & transition
Offers, comparison, decision. Then the part most agencies drop: arriving, adapting and holding up in the first season, with mental performance support through it.
Athletes
I am building my first class
I am selecting the athletes I will represent in my first recruiting cycle. Places are limited on purpose — I would rather move a small group properly than a long list badly.
What I look for
- You are an active player who competes. I will ask for your results, your leaderboards and the tournaments you have played.
- You are finishing school. U.S. programmes are universities first. Your grades will matter as much as your sport.
- You are ready to be involved. The process moves quickly and it asks a lot of you, not only of me.
- You understand what the move involves. Four years, another country, another language.
- You want this for yourself. I can help an athlete who already has the dream. I cannot give one.
What your profile will look like
First name and surname initial only, with your photo. Coaches get your full name when they contact me. Every athlete also gets their own profile page with a link you can send anywhere.
Highlight video
Thirty seconds that do the talking
Each athlete's reel sits on their profile and plays without leaving the page. Videos are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, so they cost you nothing and load fast anywhere in the world.
Not ready to apply yet?
We are still choosing which sports to focus on. Nine questions, two minutes, anonymous — and it genuinely shapes what we build.

Apply to join
This is where every athlete starts. It takes about ten minutes. We read every application and reply either way — including when the answer is no.
Have these ready
- Your club or school team, and the division or level you compete at.
- The year you finish school. This decides your whole timeline.
- A link to video, if you have one. If you don't, apply anyway — we will help you make it.
- A parent or guardian's details if you are under 18. We need them on the application.
Two permissions
The application ends with two tick-boxes: permission to show your profile publicly, and permission for us to store your information while we work on your recruitment.
You can ask us to delete everything at any time. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian gives that permission with you.
About us
We work with few athletes on purpose
Most recruiting agencies are volume businesses. The longer the list, the more placements, the more commission. We built this the other way round.
Person-centred, meant literally
Person-centred is a term from psychology, not a slogan. It means the person in front of you is the one who knows what they want. Your job is to help them reach it — not to decide it for them.
In recruiting that changes everything. We don't tell you which programme you should want. We don't steer you toward whichever college is easiest for us to place you in. We work out what you actually want from four years abroad, and then we go after that.
Why we stay small
- A limited number of athletes each cycle. When the places are gone, they’re gone — we’d rather turn someone away than give them half our attention.
- You deal with us directly. No account manager, no handover, no being passed between people who haven't read your file.
- We say no early. If we don't believe we can get you where you want to go, you read it in the consultation report — not after you have paid for a programme.
Who you'll be working with
Thalia Perez Vieco
I am from Spain, and I have made the journey I now help others make. I competed in NCAA golf at Wingate University in North Carolina, in a programme ranked number one in the nation. Today I am a graduate assistant golf coach at the University of La Verne in California, where I am completing a master’s in Educational Counseling.
Next Level On You exists because of what that transition actually took — academically, athletically and culturally. I built the guidance I wish someone had given me.
My approach is person-centred: I help athletes build on the strengths they already have, and I support their families through a process that is demanding for everyone, not only the athlete.
Clínica Pérez-Vieco, Valencia
All clinical psychological care is provided by Clínica Pérez-Vieco in Valencia, a practice with more than twenty-five years of experience and a team of licensed clinical psychologists. Their website is linked above — check them yourself.
The line between us is deliberate. Performance coaching is mine. Anything clinical is theirs, and it is delivered by a licensed professional — never by a coach.
Think this is how it should be done?
Start with an initial consultation: 60 minutes, a written report, and a straight answer on whether we take you on.
For colleges & coaches
Athletes ready for your programme
We represent international student-athletes prepared for the academic and competitive demands of a U.S. programme. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll tell you honestly whether we have it.
- Matched to your programme. We send athletes who fit your division, your position need and your academic profile — never a bulk list.
- Video that shows the real player. Full-match footage available, not only highlights.
- Prepared for the transition. Athletes arrive with mental performance support already in place — which shows up in retention.
Send us the brief
Division, sport, positions of need, roster spots, academic minimums and the term you're recruiting for.
We reply with athletes who match — or tell you plainly that we don't have them.
Mental performance
The part nobody prepares you for
Moving countries at eighteen, competing for a roster spot in a second language, far from everyone you know. Talent is rarely what breaks first.
Performance coaching
Competing under pressure, confidence after a bad run, focus, motivation through a long season, and handling the recruitment process itself.
This is mental skills work for sport. It is coaching, not clinical treatment.
Psychological support
When an athlete needs more than coaching — anxiety, low mood, homesickness, injury recovery, disordered eating — they are seen by a licensed clinical psychologist at Clínica Pérez-Vieco, our partner practice in Valencia.
Clinical work is delivered only by a licensed professional, never by a coach.
